LEVON AND KENNEDY INNOCENCE PROJECT

Book 2018, PowerHouse Books.

Two men were wrongfully convicted in a small rural town in Eastern Mississippi. Levon Brooks was sentenced to life and Kennedy Brewer, to death . After 33 years of incarceration at Parchman Penitentiary, they were exonerated by The Innocence Project.

Photo book & film in development. Joe Saenz is a Chiricahua Apache from New Mexico and the single dad of an autistic teenager. Joe Saenz also helps preserve his culture and language, and organizes intertribal events.
